I have worked with the UAW through employment at GM for over 30 years. I work at being a resource to our members and the community of working Americans at large. I am a former UAW Local 2209 President (2011-2014) and former Vice President for Local 2209 (2014-2017). I also had the opportunity to be in an Appointed Communications position at UAW 2209 from the early 1991-2009. I left that position to run for President in 2009. That move was born from the desire to help our Members and continue to serve my Local Union. I continue to help working Americans as a voice for working family values and the need for a livable wage and health care for all. Producing and hosting Labor Radio each month is my contribution to that effort. I am a volunteer.
